A lovely old pub that is nicely renovated. Very attentive bar staff, who remember your order. The restaurant is a bit hit and miss. The meals are on the expensive side of pub dinning. My husbands meal was very nice. He had steak and prawns with a lovely creamy sauce. I had lamb cutlets which where very small, it was served with a mash potato which tasted like clag glue. No gravy was served with the meal, instead an olive paste which did not give you any sauce at all. Would not be in a rush to eat here again.
