“Excellent Food and real Aussie Shearing Shed decore”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

A big group of us stopped here for breakfast as recommended by a local. Massive meals that came out so quick for our unexpected group of 20 people. The berry pancake was smothered in fresh delicious berries with a chocolate sauce and ice cream - yummy!! Excellent latte coffee and extremely well priced. Decore is so thoroughly Australian and walls are decorated at one end with lots of photos and stories about locals and past shearing shed chefs that worked there long ago. large outside undercover area too with incredible heating from the ceiling, so not problem in winter. Evidently they have entertainment there too as there was a stage inside. Wish we had time to go there for lunch or dinner as the menus look great.

“Great pub food, awesome for the family”
Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

Really good pub food. A great place for the family, as there is a huge field out the back which is overlooked by the deck, so the kids can run or kick a footy around whilst the parent have a drink and keep any eye on them!

“So so...ish”
Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

Well. ..we live in Thurgoona, walking distance to the Kinross unfortunately when we dine here it's like Russian roulette. Last night was ok , steak was cooked ok and of reasonable quality the prawns were raw, the menu stated 300gm steak. NO WAY max 200gm at $36 for a pub??? Come on! My husbands pizza was half burnt. Oysters very average. Previously we had mentioned a few concerns to management ,and clearly they don't give a dam about their local patrons so I guess it will be a sone time before we try again or should I say... not??

“Great brekky - AWESOME PRICE!!!”
Reviewed April 14, 2014 via mobile

If you are in Albury on a Saturday morning and want a great breakfast at the lowest price, head out here to Thurgoona....
2 Eggs (scrambled, poached or fried) start at $2.00 then you add your extras for $2.00 as well....
Where else can you get bacon, eggs, hash browns and mushrooms for $8.00??????
NO WHERE!!!!

“Disappointing experiences most the time....”
Reviewed February 17, 2014 via mobile

I ordered a chicken parmigiana and it was tasting ok.... Until I found a chunk of glass in it! When I told the waitress all she could say was sorry. I wasn't offered a new meal or free drink or anything. The food has defiantly gone down hill in the last few years and it's also overpriced for the quality.
There are also a lot of underage drinkers and too many fights for a "family restaurant" they definitely need more security or the police need to check more frequently.
