Relatively new in Albury, this is a most pleasant restaurant with staff attitude to match. They cater very well for those who do not like their food too spicy, they listen.
We chose a chicken dish, a fish dish from the tandoor, a beautifully made dahl and two serves of garlic naan. Mercifully we were not asked if we wanted rice, as often happens in Indian restaurants who serve non-indian people. The bill with two beers and two glasses of house wine came to $74.
The owners/managers have mad a concerted effort to provide a very pleasant surrounding area, with a good ambience.
My only criticism is the type of fish used in the tandoori dish. It would have been so much nicer had it not be a bargain basement product. A higher quality fish would have been so much more rewarding. As I said the dahl was excellent.
