The cottages built by Ross are nothing short of fabulous. Private, airy, and with picture perfect views. Huge rooms, with a sitting area, kitchen, and large bathroom. We stayed only one night and left early the next morning on a 3 days kayaking trip of Doubtful Sound, and Jane made sure that we were well provisioned for our early morning departure and let us take some of her storage containers along and leave some items in her personal fridge to pick up on out way. The walk through their fields and sheep down to the lake was lovely way to pass an hour. Town is a short drive away, so this is not a great place to stay if you don't have your own transportation. Fantastic value for the area.
