First time on Quad bikes and it was the best experience of my life. For beginners this was very easy to pick up and learn. It also helped with the tour guide giving you laps to do before we set off. We were very lucky in being given this opportunity since the company was closed for season and gave them a call and they were happy to take us out Quad biking. This experience was definitely value for money and would do it all again in a heartbeat.

We found the experience of the Quad bike tour amazing! Our guide was very patient while some of us learnt how to ride. If going to the Te Anau area you must try this great tour. Scenery was amazing and we stopped at the top of the hill for a spot of coffee and biscuits and a chat. The stopping point was a Lord of the Rings filming spot. It was very wet and muddy and some places were quite challenging and very deep puddles but it was exciting.

We had a fantastic day, both the riding and quad bike experiences are something my husband and I would do again.

We live in Auckland and joined to British friends for a short vacation on the South Island. The trip was planned at the dinner table on a cold winters evening in the UK. All questions and correspondence was promptly dealt with and the trip a excursion went smoothly.

Our group of four, had a real mix of abilities, but our fantastic hosts catered well for all abilities. Fab location and great people, highly recommended for the bespoke and special day out excursion : ) Hope you have as much fun as we did!

We took this 2 hour trip while in Te Anau. We were picked up at the campsite and driven about halfway along Lake Te Anau where we pulled off the road and there were a couple of shipping containers just out of the view of the road. The chap leading us was excellent and gave us a really good briefing on how to use the bikes.

The terrain is quite varied with some fairly challenging bits. But the bikes handle it all quite easily. My Wife had never driven a QB before and was quite nervous about it, but she was fine. When we went it was very dry as NZ hadn't had any rain for ages. It would be even more fun if it was really muddy as you'd get covered (they give you overalls and helmets to wear).

At the halfway point of the ride we stopped at a picnic bench and our guide made us some tea and had some biscuits - which was welcome. Also, the track that we had pulled off was where they filmed a scene from LOR. It's the bit where Arwen is carrying Frodo on her horse, and they are galloping over the land with mountains in the background. That's the same track.

The scenery all the way around is very beautiful. Well worth it.
