“Interesting Short-Movie about the Fjordland”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013 via mobile

The cinema is very cool! Nice big chairs to sit in and enjoy a great 32 minute film about the Fjordland. There were no comments but a flyer that goes along with it and explains a lot.
A nice experience through I did not like the loud music that comes along!

“Great little cinema”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

This boutique cinema offers a comfortable seat where you can take a glass of wine or expresso coffee with you to compliment your movie experience. Also screens the acclaimed Ata Whenua which is a movie of Fiordland National Park - not to be missed, especially if you can't do your own helicopter flight over the area.

“Ata Whenua is not worth time and money”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013

The Fjordland Cinema in Te Anau shows this short half hour film daily. It is quite boring and out of time. Just music (not the best kind) and pictures taken mostly out of helcopters. No commentary. Totally antiquated. You expect 3D today and some intelligent comment to go with it. Certainly a cash cow for the cinema but for me and my family lots of money spent in the wrong place.
