This is a great place to stay on the road to Milford Sound. The rooms are warm, comfortable and offer spectacular views across the Eglinton Valley to the glacier-formed mountains on the other side. There are only six of them and despite their proximity to the road to Milford Sound, they are oh-so quiet.
The rooms have a double bed, a table and chairs placed to enjoy the view and a little kitchen with a decent selection of pots and pans. Also, the bathroom is great, with unlimited hot water to warm up with after a day tramping around in the rain.
Also, PC is a great host. He is warm, friendly and helpful. He told us about the different walks in the area, gave us maps and checked the weather for us so we could do the walks most suited to the weather.More
