Booked a room for two and honestly the view and onsen itself are nice but from
The moment we walked in from the shuttle
Our experience was rushed. We arrived 20 minutes early and I expected them to show us to the locker rooms to change and get ready for our experience. Instead we were shown to our room 20 mins early and told that our experience started now — even though both of us needed to change and use the restroom. I specifically booked the room at 9 to see the stars but instead we started early and I barely got a glimpse because of the early start time. I timed the experience and our “warning knock” came 10 minutes early. Staff needs to get their act together if they want them his place to be considered luxury by any means.
Also, there is no privacy in the room as the bottom half of the door is clear glass. You can see people shuffle back and forth which takes away from the relaxation element.

Perfect experience! From the shuttle that picked us up in Queenstown, to the spa, the drink and nibbles provided, the VIEW and then to top it off they gave us metal water bottles as souvenirs, which we did not expect! Worth the trip and money.

So relaxing, I booked a one hour spa for my self after a day hiking and horse riding. I got there about half a hour early and the pool was ready for me. They showed me my outside pool and where I could change. It was amazing one hour was over in a flick. They even let you know when you have 10 minutes left so you can make sure you are ready when your time is done. It was so good for my sore mussels I could have stayed in the pool for a couple more hours. Only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the pool. It could have been a bit warmer as it was raining.

We're locals and have been in the day, night, summer winter all occasions and each experience is as lovely as the last! The only reason i didn't give the 5th star is valentines night we came last appointment and obv was very busy through the day and was running super late, we didnt quite get our full hour and felt a little rushed. The girls work hard there and understandably lose a little patience by the end of the day. The new frosted glass doors do take away the privacy but again understandable for H&S reasons, i didn't feel 5* on the last visit but it is and has potential to be just depends on time of day and staff :)

We do ask all our guests to arrive 15 minutes prior to their booking to allow our staff plenty of time for check-ins but as I am sure you will appreciate; this doesn’t always happen which has a flow on effect over the day.

Cannot recommend enough. Incredible and unique experience. A must while in Queenstown. Don’t forget the massage after the pool, it was one of the best I’ve ever had!
