We had quite a big group and did the 'trust the chef' for dinner after coming highly recommended. It was so incredible, the food was like nothing else. We went with the $60pp option and ordered bottles of wine to share (they specialise in white and we were a big group of red drinkers so we were a little hesitant but they were AMAZING whites!!!) There were four courses that we all shared, two entrees each and two mains...we left in a bit of a food coma. The quality of the dishes was exceptional and they catered for gluten free which was good. This place was definitely the highlight of our trip and we will be back.

Take the "Trust the Chef" challenge - it's part of the experience and well worth it. Looking forward to getting back there.

Amisfield is very close to Queenstown, in a great setting that has winter and summer options. The menu is designed to be shared and this is the way to go. The quality of food was excellent and there are ample wine choices for pairing, or head out to the tasting room nearby. Great service and location making this a perfect spot for a long, late lunch.

Spacious car park, impressive buildings & enormous statues greet travellers but where's the food? Up 2 flights of stairs & hey presto - there's the bistro! Open the doors & you're greeted by an excited buzz. Decor is pure style. Through to the otherside where a courtyard & water feature keep you company while you wine & dine. Light entrees were delicious especially with the 2008 Pinot Noir. The sun was low at 4 o'clock, bathing everyone in a rich warm amber glow - perfect

This place is heaven. Didnt get a chance to eat here (soooo wish we did, but def next time). This place I would go to for a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng lunch, we did try a few wines and they are all just lovely, some of the best we tried in this region. Can not wait to come back here.
