Beautifully appointed rooms with lovely touches like luxury bath robes, hand made fudge and chandeliers. Early evening drinks and canapés and made to order breakfasts along with attentive staff completed a great experience.

The room, standard, quality, cleanliness, and service were all excellent, especially the bed, and it certainly looks the part for a 'boutique' hotel with modern interior design. The location is also great for the heart of town without being right in the thick of it, and great for watching the paragliders land. However, there are many places in Queenstown with better views than the local rugby pitch (or road), so be prepared to be at the foot of the surrounding hills and a mountains. And if a techno-phobe like me all the whizzy electronics to control 'everything' in the room was a bit much, although a growingly common trend.

Room Tip: The choice is simple and budget dependent, park/rugby pitch or road. Lovely rooms either way.

We were made to feel incredibly welcome here. Although we only stayed for 2 nights, we felt that the small team of staff really got to know us well The overall impression we left with is that they were happy for us to be there, proud of their hotel and service, grateful that we chose their hotel and they wanted to do absolutely all they could to make our stay perfect. Of particular help to us, they helped us to book activities and knew exactly which firms were best - meaning that we need not have bothered double checking on Tripadvisor! They were also very helpful with restaurant recommendations (they have very useful relationships with the main Q'town restaurants too, which is handy for last minute bookings). The drinks and canapés from 6 to 7 are also a wonderful feature setting you up for the evening ... and very generous too. This was the best place we stayed at during our whole trip to NZ and one of the best hotels we can remember staying in, ever. You won't regret choosing it.

Positively delightful hotel and staff quite welcoming and efficient. The moment we arrived, we were escorted inside and someone had wisked our luggage to our room unknown to us. We had a lovely view of trees and a football field. Each room has a full kitchen which we did not use. The bed was done with wonderful soft, white sheets. Perfect and clean. The breakfast was fresh eggs from a local farm as was the salmon and bacon from local producers. Anything you ordered was delish!!! At 6pm you were offered wine and a lite bite; beautiful to look at and beautiful to taste. Do not miss this "jewel".

Room Tip: Be susre to face the greenery.

We stayed here 4 years ago, then returned a few weeks ago. Still absolutely beautiful rooms and wonderful service. The welcome we received was incredible. We really enjoyed the (generous!) drinks and canapes each evening and enjoyed the way this enabled us to get good advice about our plans for the evening or next day etc. - such a good balance of friendliness and absolute professionalism.

Location is great - just a few minutes walk to Queenstown centre and to the gondola. Very comfortable beds, great showers and good daily free wifi allowance. We overlooked the back road which meant we had the glass roof to our bathroom and we loved this - such good natural light all the time and lovely to see the stars at night. Convenient car park under the hotel.

Value for money here is a top feature... some reviewers may consider it expensive, but for the quality and service provided, we considered it excellent value.

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking the park if you are worried about the noise issue mentioned by some review...

From the moment we walked in the door the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and offer advice for dinner, activities etc. Very friendly and professional. This is a great boutique hotel, extremely clean and with a modern flair. Breakfast each morning was outstanding. Evening canapés and wine are graciously served. Would highly recommend!

Wow wee.. our 1 night here has to be the best accommodation experience we've had - it far exceeded the price, which for me is a first.

Super friendly welcoming, felt like royalty upon arrival, but not in a pretentious way - Eduardo was fantastic for our entire stay, thank you. We arrived during the 6-7 canape hour which was a lovely surprise - delicious fresh salmon and some chilled sav, great start!

The rooms are spectacular and full of little surprises. We were comfortable, slept well (which is not the norm for some Queenstown hotels) and were looked after from the word go. Really felt like we should've been paying a lot more than we were.

They're in a perfect location too - took us 5 minutes to walk to the other end of town and having 2 large fields on either side of the building general Queenstown buzz wasn't an issue while sleeping.

Loved it here, cannot wait to go back.

Room Tip: See if you can get a room off the main road & upstairs. Not all come with bathtubs, so ask abou...
