We spent two nights here at the end of our honeymoon around New Zealand, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The entire hotel - from the exterior to the lobby to the rooms - is just gorgeous. It's modern design, but not too minimalist or busy. The customer service is also top notch. We had an excellent recommendation to try the spa at the Millbrook Resort, and restaurant suggestions were also dead on. The wine and canapes hour was a wonderful bonus, too. Definitely worth the splurge!

Room Tip: Gondola room was great! Loved the skylight above the shower.

Spacious, modern and comfortable room. Excellent friendly service. The staff makes you feel like a guest in their home. Free canapes in the late afternoon a nice touch. It's in town, next to a park, but away from the busy section. We've returned here and recommended to friends and family and everyone loves it!

Room Tip: Choose rooms that face the park.

The hotel is beautiful and modern. I got the gondola view and I love how the room is built to take full advantage of the beauty that surrounds Queenstown. The room is spacious and airy with has large windows, and my favorite, a skylight bathroom where in the afternoon, I can see paragliders floating above.

The hotel is within minutes from the center of town, supermarket, 5 minutes from the Skyline Gondola and 10 minutes from lakeshore.

Great, friendly staff.

Room Tip: The gondola rooms are nice because of the skylight.

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful hotel before and after we did the Milford Track. The hotel was modern and very clean and tidy. The big thing was the hospitality. John, his wife and the staff were absolutely wonderful. As another writer said...a home away from home. The night we returned from four days of hiking/ tramping John brought to our room a glass of wine and some canapés. I've travelled all over the world and this is certainly the most memorable hotel. Thanks John - we'll be back.

Room Tip: I suspect all rooms are good.

This place never disappoints! We were lucky enough to be able to return to this property for a third time and we were happy to learn that it was a good as the first two times. John and Donna manage the property and do an amazing job! It almost feels like staying with family. The rooms are very comfortable and the views of the gondola very nice. It can get a little noisy with the party crowd heading home late at night, but that's what earplugs are for!! Make sure you take advantage of the treats between 6pm and 7pm in the lobby. It's also an opportunity to meet other guests. The location is second to none...a 3 minute walk to the main area of Shotover and Camp...just far enough for some serenity from this bustling town. Have fun and come back here to relax at the end of a great day!!! We hope to return again someday!!!

This hotel is by the park so you away from the bustle of the town. Most of the rooms as I have read are stunning. Not the few towards the road. The road traffic and bar traffic are very noisy. The cocktail hour and breakfast were wonderful. The staff is remarkable. They are everywhere. The decor of this hotel is modern and so clean. i would give this hotel an excellent iff it was not for the noise of the room.

Room Tip: Make sure you get room towards the park or on second floor. Then you will love it.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel in the centre of Queenstown. The rooms are very nicely designed and very comfortable and clean. The Architecture of the Building itself is contemporary and nice and blends nicely in the green park & natural environment surrounding the Hotel. The only negative feedback would be that the views from the rooms are not that great. We stayed at the Rees in Queenstown and there the room had breathtaking views on the lake and mountains.

We arrived in Queenstown after an 8 hr trip from Christchurch where we escaped the Earthquake in February. We however completely forgot all the troubles of the Earthquake where we lost all our belongings and passports by spending a magnificient week in Queenstown. The Hotel owners and staff were very nice and helped us as much as they could during our stay there.

The breakfast in the morning was great and the small canapés and drinks in the lobby in the evening very cosy and relaxing. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Queenstown and looking for a nice contempoary and well located Boutique Hotel. We would definitely go back there again!

Room Tip: Choose a suite that gives directly on the Oval, the view would be nicer.
