“Perfect budget accommodation for a couple”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2011

For the price, we were very impressed with the lodge room we had for two nights. While the building was a bit old, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom facilities were also clean and we never had to wait to use them. The kitchen / living room was combined which was probably the only drawback, as it was not possible to watch tv while other people cooked / dined / talked. It is well located to the centre of town, and some tours will pick you up out the front. Also well located to a supermarket.

Thus is the best park for campers in an increasingly congested capital of adrenaline! Our experience of the staff was that of friendliness and helpfulness, albeit after an initially frosty exchange - our receptionist made the effort to help sort our itinerary. The park is well laid out with good facilities, especially outside cooking areas - and they are interestingly decorated to remove the feel of normal shower / laundry blocks. More Internet stations and more uniform wifi provider across all Top 10 campsites may help those travelling whole country, but this is a minor point. Recommended - and try mini golf across road (indoor - incredible!!)

We stayed 1 night in a 2 berth campervan at Top 10 Creeksyde. The park had modern facilities and was clean. Showers were free unlike other holiday parks in Queenstown. Reception is open late and staff will also book activities for you. We also used the Car Wash area to clean our campervan before we returned it.
The sites were small and the park was very full when we stayed. It was the most expensive holiday park we stayed at during our 10 day trip.

Stayed one night in campervan, most expensive powered site of trip but showers were free. Good eco cred but not impressed by camper waste drain directly behind sites and kitchen in L block. People dumping while you have breakfast.

we stayed one night here in a motorhome. Was the most expensive site of all the places we stayed but once parked we could see why. Facilites were modern, celan and tidy. Kitchen was clean and the everything worked... It was obvious to us that the owners have travelled as everything seemed to be there that travellers would want and need. Showers were warm and heated, and thoughtfully laid out... this place is central to everything and is highly recommended!!!!

Me and my friend shared a double bed in a lodge, which had 3 or 4 other rooms. There was a shared shower and toilet (shower a bit small, but not that bad) and a shared kitchen/lounge. The kitchen has pretty good facilities with two bar fridges, two ovens/stove tops. The lounge has a monster plasma tv. The 'park' is a 3 or 4 minute walk from the CBD.
We didn't hear much of the neighbours, but then, that could vary.
There are plenty of brochures of the activities in Queenstown in the hotel office. The staff are helpful and we were able to get a room at very short notice.

Showers were a bit grubby, although kitchen was very clean. The pitch areas for tents are tiny! You can hire a cupboard with cooking equipment etc which was good. There is wifi also.
