We needed a place to overnight in Queenstown. We went onto the wotif website and saw what was available at late notice. Larch Hill B & B was available for $120. We didn't know what to expect. Drove to the property - is between Queenstown and Frankton. What an amazing property! We were shown to our room - beautiful views, modern furnishings and a great bathroom. The owners were very friendly and willing to talk about their travels and to tell us more about the area. They had a selection of books available to borrow for bedtime reading. There is a dining area available for use by the guests, and it has wonderful panoramic views of the lake and mountains. It's also where we had a wonderful breakfast the next morning of jam and croissants, toast and cereal. Felt sad to leave as the place was very modern and comfortable, but had a homely feel all the same.
