This hotel is centrally located up the hill a bit from town. The rooms are nice with mountain views (but no lake views). One drink and canapés are included and are very good. Breakfast is also included. The big breakfast was very nice but the corn fritters decidedly average. Service is pleasant. One issue was that smells seemed to linger in the hotel so the first day the lobby smelt rather like boarding school food and the second day a bit of toilets. They also have a spa but when I inquired they said the bookings were limited for the following day but did not offer any times so ended up getting a massage in town.

I've stayed at some of the iconic hotels around the world (from the Waldorf in New York to the Tokoyo Hilton) and this beats them all!!

Nothing is too much trouble, from organizing a last minute helicopter ride to the mountains to catering for some fussy breakfast eaters, everything is done with a smile. Where else is breakfast included, wine and canapes in the evenings, a magic box for a free laundry service and little extras around ever corner.

Peter is not only the best hotel manager (and in this case owner) that I've ever met his, his choice in staff is brilliant and they are a credit to him.

If I ever make my way back to Queenstown I know where I'll be staying.

Felt welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated , the beds were very comfortable and we had amazing views from our double aspect room. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choice, continental, cooked and plenty of toast!!
We had to leave very early for a trip to Milford Sound,6.45 am,when we mentioned this at the desk they arranged for a continental breakfast to be ready for us.
We were given a map on arrival and shown the short cut into the town, which was only a very short walk away.
I would to like to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Queenstown.

My partner and I were doing a two week road trip of the South Island and decided to stay here for two nights, and added on an extra at short notice, which they were very happy to oblige with. We didn't even need to change rooms!!

The atmosphere is lovely, very warm, cosy and extremely hospitable! The breakfasts are delicious and the hotel is centrally located so you can literally walk down the hill, turn a corner and you're right in the middle of town.

They happily put our snowboarding gear in their garage to dry off.

Our room was cozy, large and the bath tub is amazing!! The paintings in our room were fantastic, so much so we want to buy them!!

I'd happily recommend anybody to stay here, it's well worth it.

Room Tip: We stayed in T6 which has a large king sized bed, a two-person bath tub and a lovely view of the Rem...

Arrived early and the hosts were accommodating in checking in and pleasantly we were upgraded in our room category. We were notified about access to the town and the facilities on site including an inhouse happy hour for guests. Staying here keeps you within walking distance to the town centre for going out in the evening. The downstairs lounge is the nicest part of the hotel which is warm and modern clearly refurbished. Room was spacious as was the bathroom. As we only stayed one night I couldn't experience in room spa pool or inhouse day spa treatments, reason to go back I guess. Felt very welcomed at the happy hour which was a great start to the evening but got a bad recommendation for eating out at an overpriced restaurant with rubbish service at the Fishbone Bar & Grill.
Breakfast was the most disappointing part of the experience as few menu choices and coffee had no flavour or strength also no toast was offered but jams and butter on table! This let down an otherwise good experience.
Hosts were friendly and accommodating at all times but were absent during breakfast. When we checked in we requested a shuttle for the next day to take us to the airport and it arrived bang on time as requested.

It's not exactly a hotel.. only 14 rooms but very well done up and maintained !! Looked after by its owners Peter and Kaylene.. excellent hosts !!
You will be looked after well.. fed well and informed about every activity in great detail. We stayed here for 3 nights and had no complaints at all.

A delightful, spacious hotel, extremely handy (5 mins walk, downhill) to town and well fitted out. Lovely big rooms (ours was a luxury room) help one relax and the decor was stylish without being overwhelming. Loved the big 2-person bath. Staff were unfailingly helpful (although see below) and helped make our 3-day stay truly memorable. The owners even leant us their car for the morning to trip out to Arrowtown. Very accomodating.
Two niggles: we couldn't get anyone interested in supplying non-fat milk, even for breakfast, and for a boutique hotel I would have expected more than the 'basic' Sky TV. But only small things.

Room Tip: Luxury rooms are a little more expensive but worth the extra
