It's not exactly a hotel.. only 14 rooms but very well done up and maintained !! Looked after by its owners Peter and Kaylene.. excellent hosts !!
You will be looked after well.. fed well and informed about every activity in great detail. We stayed here for 3 nights and had no complaints at all.

A delightful, spacious hotel, extremely handy (5 mins walk, downhill) to town and well fitted out. Lovely big rooms (ours was a luxury room) help one relax and the decor was stylish without being overwhelming. Loved the big 2-person bath. Staff were unfailingly helpful (although see below) and helped make our 3-day stay truly memorable. The owners even leant us their car for the morning to trip out to Arrowtown. Very accomodating.
Two niggles: we couldn't get anyone interested in supplying non-fat milk, even for breakfast, and for a boutique hotel I would have expected more than the 'basic' Sky TV. But only small things.

Room Tip: Luxury rooms are a little more expensive but worth the extra

What a wonderful feeling walking in to a very warm, comforting room, plenty of room and just so lovely.

Good quality furnishings and relaxing atmosphere.

The drinks and canapés were a nice touch, nice to talk to the owners.

Breakfast was nice, good strong coffee.

Excellent location, nice walk through Queenstown gardens to the waterfront.

Will definitely return!!!!

Room Tip: We had a room on the ground floor, was private but limited view.

We found it overall a pleasant place to stay. The rooms were a good size & very clean. The staff were very friendly & helpful & had some great suggestions for restaurants & the like. Short walk to town. Not enough parking so you had to get lucky. Decent el a carte breakfast. Not exactly a hotel though even with the 'boutique' label & a fair bit over priced for a Bed & breakfast.

Of the 23 different hotels we utilized on our 3 month trip "Down Under"' Central Ridge was by far the BEST! It is a small hotel in a beautiful resort town where the owners are happy, truly happy to have you visit. They have the best staff, the most amenities, the most everything for the most decent price. They made us feel so welcome we hated to leave our five day junket there and thereafter constantly compared our accommodations to Central Ridge. We've decided that the bigger the hotel, the less they care, the more they charge. At Central Ridge they gave us great tips, service and suggestions. If it weren't so far from the US, if it weren't for the fact that our extended trip was a once in a lifetime, we would gladly return to Central Ridge. The best we can do is highly recommend the friendly, above and beyond service to all prospective visitors headed to Queenstown.

I stayed here a few years back,at February 2009.
I agree with the rest of the reviews, this place is wonderful,it makes you feel like home!
The room was cozy and spacious, very clean and tidy and the bathroom was superb!Had heating on the floor and many toiletries.Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very polite and friendly.
It was a short walking distance to the restaurants and shops.
I've all ready recommended this place to all my friends and family and will definitely stay here again in the future!
