Lovely mountain and fortunately, we visited on a day with good powder. The runs were fun, although the resort is not very big. Staff were friendly. The blue runs were also very skiable for skiers like myself who aren’t too experienced. I haven’t been able to do blue runs at most other resorts. I’d have given a 5 star rating if not for the crowd and parking issues - had to carry equipment on a long walk from the resort to Carpark. Still, I would come back again.

It was my first time skiing and it was fun there was something called a magic carpet it takes you up a little slope then after that, there is another one to go higher. it was a great time skiing but I only went on for about 30 minutes I kept falling on my but.

We believe this is the best mountain to ski as they are professionally set up to process crowds quickly to get you up the mountain. Great staff, top quality gear and very good eateries to match

Long wait for buses in both direction (1-2 hours). Poor IT systems of NZ SKI leading to long waits and errors. Ordinary food and cafeteria. Very limited runs. Poor snow quality - the locals call it Concrete Peak for a reason
