Both me and the teens love skiing here, just the right amount of space and slope to make the day enjoyable. School holidays in July are always a test but this place copes well.

Kia ora Shamus

Thanks for your review of Coronet Peak. Keep on enjoying and as you are well aware the school holidays can limit the space but even so if you are well organised still can be great skiing.

Look forward to your next visit.
Kind regards
Nigel Kerr

Great day skiing. No Aussies boarding out of control with ridiculous faux rooster hats. How nz skiing used to be before the descendants of chicken thieves discovered us😀

Fab day on the slopes with awesome snow conditions. Night skiing was on my bucket list and it didn't disappoint!

We enjoyed 4 days skiing at this resort. The snow and fields were excellent. The chair crew were fairly good at moving the queues efficiently. What wasn’t great was the wait times for coffee and food. They did their best to cope with a high volume of customers but from this customers’ viewpoint the wait was too long, the space allocated to customers waiting wasn’t adequate and the crew behind the counter were struggling for space to make drinks etc. I’d like to suggest a table device which rings when your order is ready. That would eliminate the crowds inside the doorway blocking the thoroughfare.

Thanks for your review. While the lift capacity has steadily increased we are, like you, looking at our internal fitout. The Base building was new in 2008 and since then demands and tastes have changed so it is fair to comment that the coffee bar particularly needs improvement to cope better. Especially at peak times.

Its very high up the priority so you can probably expect to see changes made by next winter.
Hope to have the privilege of hosting you then.
Kind regards
Nigel

Yesterday I had my first experience of skiing, taking advantage of the excellent value package for adult beginners.
Two 2 hour lessons with Louise were amazing!!! She couldn't have helped me more, meaningful and individual advice and feedback and kept us smiling and having fun even in the cold and rainy start to the morning. With a sunnier afternoon, the day was a total hit and would 100% return for another lesson!
Thanks Louise and staff at Coronet Peak, the energy and vibe was awesome!!
