My husband and I spent 4 nights staying at the Chalet at the begining of november and would thoroughly recommend this b & b - wonderful friendly helpful staff with spacious rooms and a fantastic breakfast each morning. Great views of the lake also - a perfect spot!

This is our eleventh day in NZ with nine motels behind us. Chalet Queenstown was by far the best. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. They have been responsive to each and every one of our needs for our three day stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. In addition to the lovely room we had a balcony with a table and chairs over looking the garden. We enjoyed the short walk to town. Best of all the owner, Alex, and his manager,Rona, provide a full gourmet breakfast which was included in the price of the room. If you are in Queenstown, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms.

The staff and owner couldn't have been nicer!

Room Tip: First room on the left at the top of the stairs! Corner room with views on two sides!!

All around excellent experience. Perfectly located a short walk from downtown Queenstown, but out of the noise and bustle. Our room was extremely comfortable, and had great views of the lake. Rhona (spelling?), the manager/cook, took excellent care of us. She cooks a mean breakfast, made great recommendations for food and activities, and plied us with baking experiments during the afternoon.

Great little hotel with the greatest service I've ever had, any problem that I could have the manager of the hotel, Alex, resolved for me. And the best breakfast of Queenstown!
It's in a realy good area, just 5 min walking to the centre of the city.
Great accommodations, the rooms are great!
I'm realy glad I've stayed here!

This tastefully designed chalet with 7 rooms is a gem in Queenstown where accommodation prices are high especially for downtown hotels. You do not need to stay downtown as Chalet (well known locally) is only less than 10 minutes walk away and most rooms have the gorgeous lake view and free parking at the porch or lawn.

Alex, the owner, cooks breakfast like chef in high end cafe. The cutlery, table setting and food presentation is high end and elegant. There are 4 choices of breakfast set plus a small buffet of bread, cereal and fruit. They are all tasty and fresh from my 3 nights stay here.

The room itself has very comfy soft bed and fixtures and lightings are all of quality and subtle. The balcony coridor has table and chair but lack privacy as the upper floor rooms share it.
