Queenstown is so awesome because of this lake. Absolutely beautiful! Took a cruise to a sheep farm on this lake, and so glad I did.

The lake is a tourist attraction in its own right. The views are stunning and the water is crystal clear. There are a number of ferries, water taxis, etc. that enable a visitor to get out on the water and explore large parts of the lake and its coastline. Definitely not to be missed.

I went to this place with my friend and we could not believe how beautiful this place can be, even in a little cloud day you can see this stunning view. You can do a road trip and stop by this place, take a lot of pictures or even have a picnic in front of this amazing lake, the snowy mountains as background makes it perfect for staying there just relaxing and meditating. Easy access as well.

Any view of this gorgeous lake is an exceptional one, no matter where it is situated. Quiet, peaceful and serene, the water is always a crystal turquoise colour.

A beautiful lake that seems to change color depending on the positioning of the sun; the Remarkables (mountain range) seem to guard it well! You can walk around part of it by going to the park downtown.
