Really nice and comfortable and affordable. Great service at reception too! Will definitely stay again. We stayed there twice in a week and while the beds were excellent in the first unit, the ones in the second were terrible, way too soft and uncomfortable. This was the only negative note.

Room Tip: If you want as quiet room, ask for one away from "The Hub"

We were in Units V and S and they could have been purpose built for us. All the mature couples stayed in V and the younger ones with families in S. Unit S had a great outside barbecue area which was safe for little ones. No problems at all with heat, lights or bedding. We ate at "The Hub" on both nights of our visit and everyone in our large group was impressed with the food - we had vegetarians and gluten intolerant people and they were looked after thoughtfully. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Bedroom bulbs were not working
Room heater was not working properly and did not warm enough.

When we checked-in, the full family unit was freezing cold. It would be good if you keep the unit warm especially when the guests are about to check-in.

At night, when we wanted to inform about the bulbs the reception is closed and we did not call anyone at night because its only meant for emergency.

The family unit itself is good, clean and big but lacks maintenance from the host.

Room Tip: Check all bulbs, heaters before you check-in.

We had a little snafu with a payment but the wonderful manageress sorted it in a very friendly and professional way, and gave us a couple of small freebies. Block R was quite new but had terribly saggy double mattresses - the singles were good. Block N was older but had good mattresses. The shared cooking - socializing rooms are large and well set up, so having a group together would be fun. Given that the price is good value your overall experience will depend on the people around you. It was fairly quiet in October. Only a km walk to Lone Star and the town centre too!

Room Tip: Ask them about the mattresses and I'm thinking they'll probably replace the offending ones s...

Good value budget accommodation. Although there is a bit of variation in the different blocks ours was exceptionally good. Staff were very helpful - special mention must go to the lovely Stina(?) at the front desk who would be an asset to any business.

One little gripe - we found the wifi unusable.

Service is great. V friendly, helpful staff.
Rooms are basic (clothes storage space but no hangers or hooks...) with one of the saggiest beds I've ever slept in.
Kitchens are OK, hot tub (with view over remarks) is added bonus. Bike hire awesome. On-site V cool. If you're looking for a cheap & cheerful option (with some inconveniences outweighed by some small luxuries) this is the place for you. PS: note to owners, please make it easier for people to recycle. Recycling bins need to be in the kitchens, not up the hill. Such a shame to see so many recyclables going straight to landfill in this day and age. Thanks.

Though traveling in groups, my partner and i stayed in block U and had our own double with en suite and lovely kitchen to share. It's not too bad for what it is, great location to get about to the city. A little concerned when they forgot to come to our rooms and change our towels and pad up the toilet rolls, but otherwise all good.
