My husband and I were let down by the Bed and breakfast we had booked and the Tourist information managed to find us this Gem. The only available room was a suite which we got at a very good price and we were not disappointed. The hotel was beautiful and the room was huge and very luxurious with views over the lake.
This trip was our honeymoon and this hotel made the occassion even more special.
the hotel did not have a pool but it did have two lovely hot tubs outside.
Parking was valet and was chargable at $10, which seemed good value.

Staying here was a real highlight to our trip – 3 nights of pure bliss. From the moment we arrived up until leaving, the service was impeccable. The view of the mountain and lakes are stunning and the fully self contained room was purely 5 STAR to its highest. Too many goofd things to mention but things like an extra large bath, new/firm counches, large TV and TV in the bedroom and blackout curtains.....all make it perfect.

On arrival they allowed me to check the bed for its firmness (which I need a firm bed to sleep well since I have a bad back) and it was very firm once the concierge stripped the King bed of its extra layer of downing ….which was no bother for him and allowed me to sleep like a baby for 3 nights.

The restaurant here too has amazing food, ambience and distinct class of hospitality. Nothing in this whole place was ever too much trouble!! From having our car parked and picked up again by the concierge to borrowing phone chargers - these guys were amazing. Thank you for great stay! I would always come back here without any hesitation and would recommend it for couples, business or families.

We were upgraded to a suite free of charge. The room was massive and had a washing machine/dryer. The scenery was beautiful looking from our lakeview room. We stayed before our Milford Trek and wished we'd booked to stay here afterwards. It was definitely better than our next hotel. It is only 5 minutes walk at the most to town/restaurants.

The hotel was great -- staff was super friendly and the views from my room terrific. Make sure to pay extra for a lake view! The hill isn't so bad don't let it discourage you from staying here. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is visiting Queenstown.

St Moritz is a nice hotel located a short walk out of main Queenstown. The hotel had a bit of an old charm to it. The staff were very helpful with everything. Our room was nice but nothing to write home about. Make sure you get a room that faces the lake. You don't want to be in this beautiful part of the world and wake up to a view of a brick wall. Don't come here and expect a brand new hotel with all the creature comforts. It is a nice older hotel with great view, great location, clean rooms and bit of charm that the new modern hotels don't have.

Go to Lombardi's for dinner one night. Excellent food, excellent service and reasonably priced. They also do great cocktails.

A pleasant hotel with comfortable rooms. Pay extra for a room with a view and you won't be disappointed - we stayed in two different rooms either side of a Milford trip and the first (non-view) room looked out on a wall whereas the view over the lake is stunning.
I spent a long time looking for the hotel services guide and eventually found it electronically on the TV.
The hotel is up a steep hill - makes the view good but the walk back from town tough.
The reception staff were excellent - sorted out parking and stored luggage between stays, even remembered us when we returned - but the restaurant staff at breakfast were poor, needing to be prompted for tea/coffee and not really showing any interest in the customers. However, the food at breakfast was very good.

Several items we washed in delicate with cold water were ruined! These are the machines inside the units that are washers and dryers in one. Management cared less and even kind of laughed it off!!!! We were not the only ones in the group with ruined clothes either but we did a lot of laundry so we lost the most. We had no view as we were at the back. There is a steep street to clime. The restaurant had a great view and the breakfast buffet was good. All the hotels seemed to have almost exactly the same stuff for breakfast. I would never stay here again!
