Despite the cold snap coming through the week we spent with you, our room was always warm, water hot and customer service friendly.
Views are to die for especially when covered in snow.
Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed here for 6 nights during the Australian school holiday.

Positives

Friendly staff
Free parking
Nice twin queen size bed
Good lake view room

Negatives

Despite LCD tv, poor quality of picture
Bathroom - not good at all. Railing rusted. Tiles grout look dirty. Most disgusting, the enamel (or whatever the white coating of a bath tub is called) has worn down to see some black colour underneath, dismal efforts were made to filled up those spots.

The rate is reasonable but definitely the bathroom need an urgent update as it is so bad that I won't be surprised if some guests will find them revolting.

The Good:
The rooms were very clean and modern. We were in a garden view room but still had amazing mountain views. It snowed in the courtyard overnight so that was beautiful! We ordered room service twice and it was good, a bit pricey but most are. I wouldn't say it's a close walk to town, but we did see alot of people walking, I wouldn't in the winter, especially with snow gear. Room service and cleaners were much more friendly then the front desk staff. I would stay here again and would reccomend it to my friends.

The need to be improved:
The front desk staff could be more informed about information in the surrounding areas and if unsure not give us false information and direct us to where we can get the correct information. for eg One of the guests in our room became very sick and we rang up the Front desk at around 9:30pm and asked for any medical centres in the area, We were given information to one and was told by the staff it would be open until 10pm. We arranged a taxi which was over 20 dollars each way only to find that when we arrived the actual closing time was 8pm. This was a huge inconvenience as my friend was very sick and we then had to pay more to go to the local hospital. The taxi fare both ways ended up being over 100 in total. On our 2nd last day we rang up the front desk to enquire about the Coronet shuttle that runs from the town centre in which we were told the last bus left the town at 10pm. It was 9:30 by this time so we thought we obviously missed it, wondering if the information was correct we rang a Ski store from which we hired our gear and they informed us the last bus didn't depart until 12pm. Fortunately for us we were able to get the correct information and not miss out on a days snowboarding that we pre-paid for. I was very clear when I asked the front desk about this information and I think that due to her not taking the time to listen resulted in her giving us information about another bus service. On the same day the regular buses (to town) were not running due to the snow and we were sitting outside for about 30 minutes with our snow gear before we approached the staff about transport in which they said they were not operating, we asked them to order a taxi for us. When the taxi arrived it was not big enough to hold our snowboard gear and we were rejected by atleast 3 taxi's. I then went back to the service desk and asked if they booked a van taxi and she said no. It was very obvious that we were geared up for the mountain and I would have thought that a hotel that has lot's of snowboarding/skiiing guests would be a bit more organised. We eventually got into a taxi that ended up being someone elses as those guests had taken another taxi. Apart from the lack of accurate information the rest of the stay was fantastic. I would like to suggest some kind of signage outside the main entrance that has bus times and if they are operating ect.

As an A/club member we received a warm welcome, were upgraded and really enjoyed our stay especially the snow.
The hotel is looking a little 'tired' in some parts but it was clean and the beds were warm and comfortable. We had value for money and would return
