My husband and I headed to Queenstown for 5 days for a business conference that was held at the Millenium. We had a lovely stay, the hotel was quiet although there were plenty of people coming and going regularly. We dined in the hotel restaurant a few times and the meals were delicious. The staff were helpful when needed but discreet while not needed. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious and homely. The hotel provided a free shuttle into town on the hour every hour from 8am till 9pm, this was a fantastic service and we used it alot. I can't wait to go back.

We stayed here as a birthday treat. Found a bargain through 'Whatif' that included breakfast in the price. It is currently the shoulder season in Queenstown and many of the rooms at the hotel are being upgraded - which is great as it is starting to look a little tired in places. The rooms are spacious and have good sized beds. The only complaint would be that the shower is over the bath - almost a health and safety issue in this day and age. The breakfast was great - chefs on hand to sort out the egg department. It is only a 5 minute walk into central Queenstown so is very handy to all the amenities. Would stay here again

Easy check in and check out with friendly and professional staff, great to be able to park our car out of the morning frost. Breakfast was OK, not wow but we did get a discount which was good. Bed was super comfy, great nights sleep. Bonus to get a free newspaper. Nice and close to town and was a good walk after dinner to get back to the hotel. Shuttle bus is also a good option although we needed to get back after 9pm when the shuttle was not in service. We enjoyed a nice drink by the fire in the bar which was a relaxing and romantic way to start our evening. Overall a lovely and convenient hotel at a good price - definitely would stay here again.

We chose this complex due to a rate we found on-line, including buffet breakfast. The service was friendly, warm and inviting. Our rooms were of good size however we didn't realise we had booked single beds which turned out to be ok as they were big and very comfortable, my partner is 6ft6" and he had plenty of room. The room and bathroom were very clean and well presented however needed a little maintenance, the wallpaper on the walls was peeling and the window whistled in the wind. We were on Level 4 on the main road so there was a constant noise of traffic and sounded as though the window was open at one point. The breakfast was lovely and certainly something there for everyone, again good service. The only thing I was surprised with is a $10 parking on-site fee, we parked up the main street but this is the first time I have been asked to pay for parking at a complex of this size.

Room Tip: Try to avoid a room that is next to the main road

Dear LisaGray80,

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay.

It is great to hear that you had a great stay and our staff did everything they could to make it comfortable and memorable for you. All our rooms are double glazed which helps in reducing the noise levels but guests can always request a garden view room to avoid the noise. These rooms are subject to availability and can be checked with our Front Desk team on arrival.

Parking charges are very common in Queenstown and around New Zealand. We are one of the hotels that charges $ 10.00 compared to other where you could be paying $ 20.00 per night.

I sincerely hope that this will not deter you to stay with us again next time.We look ofrward to welcoming you back to millennium Hotel Queenstown soon.

Kind Regards

The breakfast buffet was great each morning. Always hot and plentiful. Beds are comfortable and large.
the hotel is in a good lcoation for wandering around but is on a bit of a hill.

I have stayed here several times now. I particularly like the first floor rooms. They open out onto the gardens in the centre of the hotel outside. Nice in good weather.

Rooms are clean and pleasant. Good value for money. A short walk down to town.

Great service. Very pleasant place to stay.

Room Tip: Very quiet on the ground floor

Hotel was very nice. the beds were super comfy and room was spacious. Great having a refrigerator & coffee machine in the room. The staff could not have been nicer and went out of their way to accomodate your requests. Only issue is the hotel is high on the hill & while they have a shuttle to the downtown area, at the busy times it is full & we walked back - quite a good exercise.

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay.

We are glad to know that your stay was comfortable and our staff was always there to assit you to make a memorable stay for you.

I agree that walking back to the hotel is a good exercise but guests who find it tiring can always use the shuttle. We always do a second round if we know that we have more guest waititng to go to town vice versa.

Once again I thank you for your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back to Millennium Hotel queenstown.
