Stayed here for 5 nights for a conference recently. Very comfortable room – nice and spacious, with a good-sized bathroom (ie enough space to unload my toiletries around the basin). The bed was comfy, and it was very clean and well maintained. Good location, with a short walk into town, although you do need to watch yourself crossing the road as it is quite busy and you’re on a blind corner. This was a problem for us as the conference facilities couldn’t quite cope with the numbers, so we had to cross over to the Copthorne every day for lunch and tea breaks. The upside to the road was the bus stop just outside the front door, so a bus trip to the airport was easy, rather than a $40 taxi ride.
Good value too – would happily stay there again.

Hi MRDAV64,

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us.

We appreciate that you found the hotel comfortable during your stay and I would like to aplogise for the inconvenience caused due to switch over between two hotels for your meals. Millennium hotel has one of the largest conference facilties in Queenstown and we can cater upto 600 guests and it is unfortunate that is was arranged like this.

Our location is one of our biggest strength and having a bus stop right outisde the hotel is a bonus for our guests.

We hope that you will consider Millennium Hotel for your next stay and we look forward to welcoming you back to Queenstown.

Kind Regards

We stayed at the Millennium some years back which was less than satisfactory, hence our expectations were not great. I am pleased to say we were pleasantly surprised with the Millennium. There was plenty of space in our room with what I would say were one of the most comfortable beds we have very slept in. The shower over the bath was the only negative, as was a big step both in and out of it. Something you may need to consider if mobility is a problem.
The staff were outstanding in there responsiveness to questions and queries.
We were there as part of a large conference. The Millenniums organisation was excellent. Loved the way the carpark was turned into the food hall/stall holders venue. However, that did mean there was no parking available for guests, so we had to find a park on the street. You could park across the road at the Copthorne but they said I would have to pay $10/night.

In summary, I would recommend the Millennium, it is well located, although a short uphill wander but that also gives you views.

Room Tip: Level 2 and 3 gives you better views with L2 on the same level as the reception.

Hi Oamaruvian,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

We are pleased to know that you found the hotel and its facilities better than last time which is a feather in our Cap.

As the Carpark was hired for the conference it is a disappointment to know that delegates were not informed about the same which came to us as a surprise hence alternatives were offered to all our guests.

Despite this it is good to know that you will stay with us next time and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Kind Regards

Clean, comfortable and spacious room. The staff were friendly and welcoming and super helpful in booking all the activities we had planned. Nice walk into town, it is a bit of a hill coming back up but there is a free shuttle service every hour if you don't want to walk. If I was staying in Queenstown again, I wouldn't hesitate to book the Millennium, all in all a lovely place to stay!

Stayed here for a conference for 4 days. Tidy rooms. Beds a bit soft for my liking. Buffett breakfast was great but some items a bit stodgy. Conference facilities were ok. Easy to wander into town but a bit of a trek up the hill. Little bit far away from the action in town for my liking.

The Millennium Hotel is on the edge of Queenstown, but not far from things. It's a short walk into the main part of town, although down a hill, so uphill to return back to the hotel. The hotel does have a shuttle into town from 9 am - 9 pm each day which is nice but if out later than 9 pm, you have to walk or take a cab or bus. I think walking is the better option, as bus and cab are pricey for a short ride. Hotel was clean and my room ready upon my arrival at 3 pm. Spacious room. Comfortable bed, very soft, although the king was adjoined king singles, which did offer an uncomfortable seam in the middle of the bed. Nice bathroom but little counter space, which is slightly annoying. Used the spa pool briefly, but it was not hot enough to really be enjoyable, felt more like bath water. Workout facility looked nice, but I did not use it. I had a lovely room with a garden view. Hotel was quiet. I would definitely stay here again. Also convenienetly located on the but route from the airport, making transportation easy.

One of the many hotels in Queenstown, the Millennium is in walking distance to the main city area.
Rooms are extremely well appointed and very comfortable. Service is excellent. In house dining is available. Undercover parking is also available (they sometimes charge for it).

We have just attended a conference at the Millennium. We booked two rooms for 4 adults way in advance of the conference and we were disappointed to see we were placed 2 floors apart - others attending were in this situation as well. The conference venue itself was good, however cramped at intervals in the hallway/balcony outside the venue when mingling and networking. The checkout and charging seemed confused with staff at the front desk not knowing how much is charged for the breakfasts. The rooms were a little dated, but comfortable. The hotel is close to the town centre, and the walk down is easy, but the walk back up the hill can be a killer. We taxied a couple of times.

Hi Sekta,

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us at Millennium hotel.

I am disappointed to know that your rooms were not allcoated next each other whihc I hope the Front Desk was able to sort out for your on arrival.

I sincerely apologise about the confusion at the time of check out and the same has been forwared to Front Office Manager to ensure it does not happen again.

I agree that steep hill can be killer hence we have got a hotel shuttle that runs to town every hour.

We hope that you will consider Millennium hotel again and we look forward to welcoming you back.
