A very scenic course, especially the first 9 holes! Playing these first 9 holes it makes one wonder whether we were there to play golf our admire the incredible scenery! Very playable course but not for the faint hearted - stay on the fairways. You'll be severely punished if you dare venture into the rough - bye! bye! ball in those tussock grass! Incredible views on the higher parts of the golf course - lake on one side and the mountain vista on the other.
BUT, it is cold but not necessarily windy. We started at 9.00am and had to put layers of warm clothing on. So be prepared.
The second 9 holes descends into the lower part of the course and it is not so cold.
