Totally loved this - very professional from beginning to end.
Picked up from the Hotel, Bikes were ready to go, helicopter was ready to go.
I am not the most experienced rider, but our guide Kerri totally put no pressure on, and we pushed our bikes in the hard parts...a group of 4 we had a blast.

We had booked this trip way in advance, were looking forward to it for months and weren't dissappointed. On the day of our trip we were picked up by Greg (the owner) and Mark (our tourguide for the day). The helicopterflight to our startpoint at the Old Woman Range took about 20 minutes and was breathtaking. The pilot performed a stunt at the mountain ridge which was really exciting.
The track down to Bannockburn was about 25km and although, off course most is downhill, there are a couple of uphill sections too. The track itself varies from dirt road, single track, grass and rocky sections to muddy.
The Nevis full day helibike is an intermediate tour, but my partner who is a more advanced rider also had a blast on this track.
Our guide Mark was great an really looking after the group, making sure they were ok/comfortable. Before every section he would explain what we could expect from the next part. When I fell at a rocky section he was there in no time to take care of me.
The GT Force bikes that are used for the trips are good quality bikes and well maintained. We didn't experience any problems with the bikes what so ever. We would definitely book another trip with Fat Tyre when we're in the area!

I went on 4 days riding with Greg a few years back, had a great time. Fab trails and accommodation, and the heli biking was just awesome. Would recommend to anyone!

Have just returned from a 3 day cycle tour -aptly named Dirty Weekend. Had a great time in the most wonderful locations. Started with the heli-cycling and hit some bad weather at the top that made the descent a bit uncomfortable but the sunshine half-way down soon thawed out our freezing fingers and toes. The next 2 days we had glorious weather which made the scenery appear even more incredible. Each days cycling was different and although quite challenging at times we could go at our own speed. The accommodation provided in Arrowtown was excellent as were the diffrent restuarants/pubs, cafes we visited. Kerry our guide did an excellent job of looking after us.

Perfect laid back activity for those Queenstown visitors not so into adrenalin. The route was mostly downhill, the scenery farmland with mountain backdrops and the three vineyards visited were different enough in character and flavour to warrant the comparison. Lunch was simple but perfect. Bring water and credit card. Mt. Rosa winery can "ship" to Australia for $10, others not so much.
