My last visit to Lick was in August and i was so disappointed with the plain lack of customer service. My partner and i were second in line after a group of four. The Four ended up walking out as the girl behind the counter hadn't even looked up at them. My partner and i moved to the front of the line and gave it another 5 minutes. We got the same treatment. not even a " hello i will be with you soon" and the place wasnt even busy, there were only two other customers seated inside, so a grand total of 4 customers and still nothing. So we left and went to Patagonia instead. The only reason i didn't give this a "terrible" review is because i know the product is really great. pity about the service.

Came in for a scoop of ice cream with my aunty after we had burgers at Ferg. We each had a scoop each of a different flavour and we sat at the table under a heater. A perfect close to a filling meal. Really enjoyable. Nothing too flash, but satisfying.

I had the most interesting chocolate ice cream at Lick in a good way. It was the best choc ice cream ever. Don't know whether it's because of ít's milk, or fat/cream level, but noticeably different texture and taste. I would go to Queenstown just for that.

Competition is rife in the creamy deliciousness of desert bars in Queenstown, there's plenty to choose from. Your staff are not welcoming or attentive to customers at all! We waited for 10mins without so much as an acknowledgement and when another group of 6 walked in they were given the same treatment as us and so we all walked out, goodbye to 8 paying customers! We've got Patagonia, Movenpick and now Mr Whippy coming soon. Your product is great and the gelato is some of the best in town, but you need a smile and a welcome to make it work too

Great range but heavily overpriced at $8 for a two scoop cone. Service was average, the girls who work there show no interest ever.
