“Nice to walk around in, but average shops”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

Certainly worth some time walking around here. We did eat in one of downstairs, which had poor service, long wait, and below average food. The shops had much of the same offerings, having seen one, the others are about the same. But, if you have the time and desire to do some walking and shopping, it is worth some time spent.

“Run of the mill but pleasant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

This is for a Sunday afternoon with nothing else to do. It is a normal pedestrian strip with the expected number of shops selling New Zealand products - lambs wool, gloves, souvenirs, etc. They do have a Louis Vuitton there but only a small one. If you want a pleasant stroll with no traffic it is good.

“Quite good shopping, but very touristy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

The mall was easy to get around, and there were some nice and some quaint shops. Most of the clothing shops supplied clothes and accesories made in New Zealand. Most of the shop assistants were very friendly and helpful. The eateries down stairs weren't impressive, with dirty tables, and poor-english speaking staff who couldn't give us directions to thge bus stops!

“Queenstown 17th August 2013”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2013

Beautiful small town set amongst breathtaking mountains and lake. We stayed at Blue Peak Apartments and it was extremely comfortable with two great bedrooms and great lounge kitchen area with a view to the Gondola and lake. It was one of their top rooms so we were very lucky. Staff always ready to assist in everything you asked, just fabulous would not hesitate in recommending. 2mins down the small hill to town, extremely well located.

Snow is only 30-40 mins away Just Magnificent Mountain Ranges, was unlucky that weather was bad and we didnt do the Helicopter ride to Milfound Sound but has only made us want to go back sooner to do that and more.. Spring Canyons shot over was a hoot and daily there is always something to so or do, if you want to, or just eat at any fabulous cafe restaurant. We loved Vedu Cafe and especially the Chef their Adam, food and staff there were great.

Queenstown we love you and definitely will be back.

“Ok but not great”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

There's a few nice little shops, but they're expensive and definitely aimed at tourists with lots of gift shops etc. Theres's a better shopping mall in Frankton, I think it's called the Remarkables Shopping Centre or something like that so if you've got a car, shop where the locals shop.
