Owner description: There’s so much to do in beautiful Queenstown it’s hard to fit everything in. Queenstown Highlights makes sightseeing easy. We’ve chosen 6 must-see locations and activities which everyone should experience whilst in Queenstown. • Queenstown Hill View point: Get the camera ready for stunning views of Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables and Bob’s Peak.• AJ Hackett Bungy Bridge: Experience the thrill of bungy either as a watcher or maybe even as a jumper. (To jump: Combo Option).• Gibbston Valley Winery: Taste a selection of locally produced fine wines, including the celebrated Pinot Noir at this award winning winery.• Lord of the Rings Film Location: Keep that camera handy. The famous Pillars of the Kings scene was shot here and the views are spectacular.• Arrowtown: There’s gold in them hills! Rich in colonial architecture but with modern boutiques and quirky shopping Arrowtown is a real treat. Enjoy the Lakes District Museum or Chinese Miners’ Settlement.• Shotover Jet: No visit to Queenstown is complete without riding ‘the World’s most exciting Jet Boat ride’. (Combo option)

“A great way to see queenstown...”

We did the morning queenstown highlights tour and it was a highlight of our NZ trip! James our guide was informative, friendly & really good fun!!

The structure of the tour is great and all small groups so seems really personal! James for example we bumped into the next day and got out of his car to chat!

LOTR sights are great as was arrowtown...

When we went to AJ Hacketts, they gave Nick my husband time to do a bungy even though this wasnt actually part of the tour!!

Definately recommend!!!

Thanks James!

“a must sightseeing tour!”

Joining their half-day morning sightseeing tour is truly a great way to start a day in Queenstown especially when you have limited time. Short but you get to see much than you would expect!...it's different from other tours I guess as this is just a small group so the tour was very personalised...James, our tour companion that day, was very nice and he got so many stories to tell about queenstown. First stop was the breathtaking view of Lake Hayes for some photo opps. Then we went to AJ Hacket Bunjy station. Here you get to see people taking turns for their heart pumping jump into Kuwarau River or you might even want to join them! Free viewing of The Secrets of Bunjy plus a souvenir rope you could keep and show to your friends when you get back home! Next, time for some free wine and cheese tasting in Gibbston Valley. Three different wines and assorted cheeses, who wouldn't want them?!. A quick stop to one of the Lord of the Rings film location was a plus in this tour! Then of course, visiting the historic Arrowtown was just awesome. Here you have enough free time to explore this small yet very beautiful and relaxed town...try some hot kiwi pie, a must eat before going back to Queenstown! Loved it heaps! Definitely a must sightseeing tour.

Not into the "adrenaline tours" Want to see the true side of Queenstown plus a great winery historical Arrowtown and of course a must is to visit the Bungy Bridge and if you dare jump, this is the tour to do.
The tour guide we had for the morning was Elaine who showed us from a locals prospective this beautiful town.
I cant speak highly of how great this tour Thank you for a great morning
