“Not impressed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

As we sat at the table, our waiter didn't offer us a drink list, it seemed like our waiter was a trainee as he didn't really know much about wines, we wanted to have med sweet wine, however he suggested a Rose one, which was way too dry, not a single touch of sweetness, but after we asked to change it, he politely apologized and offered to taste some other ones. We ordered scallops with pork belly for our starter, which was superb, however my main which was seafood medley was very disappointing dish, a couple prawns and mussels swimming in a watery liquid.. definitely cannot call it a main dish. My partner's lamb was ok, however I left disappointed and hungry. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and there wasn't much ambience going on.

Hi Iazanka,

Thank you for your review on Tripadvisor. I sincerely apologise for your dining experience which obviously isnt quite up to expectation.

I can assure you this is not our usual standard, as you can see by the numerous positive reviews threesixty prides itself on great service and excellent quality food. Obviously we still have some work to do so thank you for bringing this to our attention. We do have some new team members on board but this is certainly no excuse, rest assured your review will be followed up with the team.

Thank you again for your comments, we appreciate your time to write to us.

Kind regards,

Guy Robinson

“Great food - friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

We were staying at the Crowne Plaza so ate in this restaurant often. We are Priority Privilege members so the meals were half price which is excellent value.

Overall the food was delicious. The menu is reasonably varied. I can particularly recommend the scallop and pork belly entree, the lamb and the fish. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the Kai Moana which was a main course and was a broth with no texture, flavour and had two prawns, a mussell and a small clam. I recommended that it be removed from the menu because if it had been the first meal I ordered we probably wouldn't have gone back to the restaurant which would have been a shame.

Hi dulcieb,

Thank you for your review. I have circulated your comments with the team who have greatly appreciated reading them.

I am pleased to say in the last few days since your feedback we have been reviewing the Kai Moana dish. Our Executive Chef has planned some changes to this dish to bring it up to the standard of the other dishes on the menu. We have recently just launched the menu you were dining on so its great to have some feedback for us to look at.

We hope to welcome you back to threesixty in the near future.

Kind regards,
Guy Robinson

“Don't try the mulled wine”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

I had the $8 mulled wine thinking it would be really nice. Was about 100ml of pure sugar. No one could possibly have this whole glass without getting diabetes.

Hi Brayden T,
Thanks for your time completing this review on Tripadvisor.
I am surprised to see your comments regarding the mulled wine as we have only received excellent feedback regarding the taste. I assume you have tried our white mulled wine. It is typically sweeter than the red mulled wine as it has New Zealand Manuka honey as one of the ingredients.

We are the only restaurant in town currently making white mulled wine. The recipe is a tried and tested family recipe from one of our German chef’s. It is a different taste to the red so I apologise that the team possibly didn’t explain this to you when ordering.

Thank you again for your feedback.

Regards
Guy Robinson
