My friends and I booked to do a half day's Snowshoeing at last minute and were collected from our hotel that same afternoon. The drive up to the Remarkables was a little scary on the windy track but we got to see some incredible views of Queenstown and the mountains. We walked through the ski area in our snow shoes up to a frozen lake and stopped for tea and cookies which was a real treat. Pete was a fantastic guide and enjoyed sharing his life stories of survival and celebrity bodyguarding! I would certainly recommend this trip - it's a great way of getting up into the mountains and pretending you're part of the ski community without the need for experience. Thanks Pete for a great afternoon!
