The gardens are well located on the edge of the lake and downtown. There are a number of paths to follow through these picturesque gardens

What a beautiful garden, you can stroll here for hours. Feed the ducks and sit back and admire nature at its best. Its free and welcoming to all. Its a must visit when you are in Queenstown. The flora range is magnificent,

this is a beautiful place. I loved all the views and seating as you explore the garden. Going during the sunset is the best!

If you want a bit of chill time then walk through the gardens. They are not a massive botanical gardens but they are free and there is a lot of interest especially the fascinating frisbee golf game that is played by the locals. If you walk through the garden entrance you can walk back along the waters edge path and enjoy views of the lake. Never expect too much for nothing but this is a great way to enjoy a few hours in the sun and a very pleasant walk.
