Our group was doing a wine tour, and while we waited for the hour to come, we decided to look around. The samples of cheese provided were very good. I decided to get a sample pack in fact. Besides cheese they have a descent selection of preserves and things that go along with wine and cheese. Neat little store...though i thought a bit pricey, but what isn't in NZ! Well recommended if you are in the area!

I wish they had more choice in sheep and goat cheese as I am allergic to cow cheese. But the ones we got were very very nice. We grabbed a Pinot Noir taster from Gibbson Valley Winery next door, which was decent but probably the least of the 6 wineries we visited on the trip.

This is another favourite and with it being right beside the Gibbston Winery it makes it an easy way to fit in 2 fabulous places. The cheese is wonderful, lots of variety and the setting lovely. The service is superb!

an amazing selection of beautiful cheeses, chutneys and general all sorts. Thought the wife would never leave. We sat outside by the vines and had a beautiful cheese board and some wine from the winery. Very well priced. Got speaking to the owner Kevin and he ended up throwing some freebies in our bag for us (as we were taking cheese home). What a guy! Our friends keep asking us when we are going back to get some more. Soon i hope!

Great stop off to taste some excellent cheeses. Really friendly staff who could not do enough to help. Don't miss the sheep's milk cheese, in our opinion this was so different with a great taste all of it's own.
