Fergburger has a great menu selection and the burgers are fresh and a good size.
I am not sure it is worth all the hype, if you are from New Zealand you will know there are a lot of good burgers out there that are on par with these.

I got a chicken burger. It was nice but it was just an average burger you get everywhere else in pubs and restaurants. In fact I had better burgers elsewhere in NZ. Nothing special and out of this world. Definitely not worth queuing and waiting for your order for 30 min and eating it on the street because there is nowhere to sit down.

This place deserves its great reputation. The ingredients in the burgers are amazing quality - v fresh, thick and juicy! We also had the onion rings which were crispy and delicious. It was super busy when we went and everytime we walked past. The staff were still very friendly and tried their hardest. We waited less than 10 mins for our food which was excellent considering how busy it was. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in Queenstown!
*We also went back to the Ferg bakery for a pie and a brownie and they were possibly even better than the burgers! Would definitely recommend this - Ferg is clearly a business that cares about the quality and freshness of their food…everything is top notch.

Not as good as i thought considering all the publicity, honestly $19.50 for burger i got, couldve come from anywhere for half the price, it was nice to eat but nothing fantastic, overpriced and over rated, wouldnt go back
