Unfortunately most of what food we selected from the menu was unavailable. Not a good start. Finally we selected adamame beans as an entree and salmon as a main. The latter was served with salad and rice and miso soup. The beans were well cooked and tasty but the actual pods varied from 1-3 beans inside so were not of top grade.
The salmon turned out to be square bits about 40-50 cm each side. While overcooked by some standards they were surprisingly tasty and were enjoyed. The miso soup was just average but the rice was excellent. My partner commented that if we had been able to see the food being prepared we may not have stayed. Overall we left modestly satisfied but would probably not return.
