Though this restaurant is a bit out of the way and is down near the south end of Invercargill it certainly was a pleasant surprise when we visited. The décor is tasteful, the service friendly and the food is lovely. We love Indian cuisine! I had mango chicken and it was rich, creamy and sweet. Since first dining in, we have been back for takeaway's twice now and will definitely return. The only reason we did not dine in the last time we were there was the fact that one of our friends was in a wheelchair and there is no wheelchair access to the restaurant at the top of the stairs. The bottom part could accommodate us but the menu on offer was more expensive. On the whole their menu is well priced. For those more interested in takeaway's Dhaba also has a loyalty card system. Added to this is their addition to the current Entertainment Book and if you present your gold card you will get 2 for 1 meal. A hidden gem in Invercargill that I suggest anyone who has the taste for Indian/Pakistani cuisine gives a go!
