Helpful people and a great place to wander through and reflect on local history. Make sure you check out the tuatara's.

Set on the edge of beautiful Queens Park and gardens this is the Invercargill knowledge centre of where to visit, what to do and where to stay. The information centre has many little treasures including the tuatara lizards, one of Burt Munros bikes, art displays and bike hire.
the staff are friendly and helpful, there isd a delightful little cafe and there is plenty of parking.
After visiting the information centre, take a walk through the Queens Park gardens. You will not be disappointed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We bought a number of items from the shop which were reasonably priced compared to other outlets we saw later.

The folks here were extremely helpful (as I found most Visitor Information Centres in NZ). They booked my accommodation in Te Anau and my tours to Doubtful and Milford Sounds and to the glowworm caves.
