Every time we've been here for tea it's been great. I recommend the blue cod. But tonight we went for dessert and I had the banoffie pie. Very average. The sticky date, farmhouse cheesecake, or even the mudcake offers better value in both $$$ and taste. Be warned that the banoffie pie comes with 3 slices of banana only, and the caramel is sickly sweet. Also it's not in proportion to the other deserts. It's noticeably smaller. When asked by waitress if our meals were ok, i did give feedback, which prompted the manager to come and discuss issue with me.
All in all, other dinning experiences have been great. Will go again, but will steer clear of the pie.

Stopped there for lunch with a business colleague, they were doing a bit of renovation work, but this didn't affect the great experience given by the staff. great food as well. Will be back next time I am down there.

Had a teenage birthday dinner, when the restaurant was upgraded they should have made a separate entrance away from the bar, not very pleasant taking children past all the rather intoxicated people. Had to wait at least 50 minutes from ordering food till we received meal. The meal itself was nice but it is so loud you have trouble speaking to everyone in the group. The toilets are not that wonderful . Sorry could not recomed it to family or friends.

FANTASTIC!!. Zoe looked after us exceptionally well. The food was magnificent. Huge portions though. The atmosphere was great. Some cosmetic work being done on the outside of the building but inside upstairs was cosy. Highly recommend
