We were part of a large group. I had the Mexican tortilla, small size, it was very tasty, and filling. My partner had the fish of the day, blue cod, the portion size was disappointing for the money, but tasted good. The restaurant had already been booked by another person in the group, so we had no choice but to eat there. We were a bit worried by the "D" grade food safety rating prominently displayed on the front door, and had we been on our own would not have chosen to eat there for that reason.

We came in with a booking for about 15 people and had another table next to us that had about 15 or more people too. Service was terrible and the staff was noticeably overwhelmed. waited for our food for close to 90 minutes. nobody even warned us that it will take so long. some food for our table came first but we had to wait for awhile for the rest to come. noticed tables who came after us got served first.

we got fed up after waiting for an hour and a half, and no apologies or anything was given by then. one of us decided to inform a staff member and they were kind enough to serve us complimentary bread. but why didnt they do something about it before?

food came. it was just average for me. ordered the creamy spaghetti marinara. it had a faint seafood smell, prawns were overcooked (suspect its the frozen type), seasoning not adequate, too creamy and the smell really put me off after awhile. it may be also due to long hours of waiting and by the time my food came i lost my appetite. also tried a potato & chives soup as started but it was so so salty. andd hardly tasted anything except salt.

didnt really enjoy myself that night and i believe many from my group didnt too. it was packed and busy that night, but it shouldnt be an excuse for the bad service. nobody came to us and explain or apologise before hand until we approached them. food served first to other tables who arrived later than us. havent really tried other things on the menu but based on what i had, i wont return. some friends who had their pizza did mention that it was fairly good.
