I really can't fault Plato. Sure it's not on the high street (which meant that the clientelle were far more interesting and varied than the usual coach load tourist brigade) but worth the short walk over to the harbour side.
Rather than being embarrassed by the somewhat unassuming frontage, the restaurant has positively embraced the retro look with displays of 70s gadgets and ornaments.
Food choice was extensive and all our choices were excellent (I'm generally pretty critical so this is high praise). Waiting staff were seamless from the waitress on her first night to the two owners that both served us chatting pleasantly about the food and their approach.
