Nikita was wonderful to work with in booking the tour. We were arriving on the Diamond Princess and didn't want to pay the outrageous cruise ship pricing for the Taieri Gorge Railway trip. She helped us arrange for the railway ,Larnach castle, and city sights tour. Unfortunately, our train broke down on the way back down the mountain so we missed the castle and city tour, but we were well taken care of every step of the way and never felt like we'd been abandoned or that we wouldn't get a refund for the missed portion of the tour or that we would miss the ship. An unexpected difficulty was handled very professionally. Highly recommend.

Dear Colorado,
Thanks for your review of nearly one year ago - we trust you still think fondly of your Cruise to Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Nice to hear of your comments about Nikita - whilst Nikita is now traveling herself we have other dedicated staff to coordinate ALL our Cruise customers in Dunedin. Bringing Alive Local Legends and NOT leaving customers stranded are mantras of our company.

Kind regards

On the 16th December 2013 we arrived in Dunedin on the Celebrity Solstice. I had made arrangements online with Head First Travel for our party of four to tour Speight’s Brewery, Larnach Castle and tour the city sights on the Downtown Hopper. During the course of making these arrangements I spoke with Nikita who was extremely helpful in deciding how we could see the attractions we wanted in the amount of time available whilst in port.

After disembarking from the ship we were greeted by Nikita who quickly made it clear that she was there to help in any way she could. It was so nice to meet someone so enthusiastic about what they do. She accompanied us on the Head First shuttle which took us to the I-Site Centre, (near the Octagon in Dunedin), the boarding point for tours and the Downtown Hopper.

Throughout the day we were impressed with the friendly and efficient manner in which Head First ran their shuttle services and tours and we were never concerned about making it back to the ship in time for departure. The commentary provided on the Downtown Hopper was interesting as was the guided tour of Larnach Castle.

Nikita was there from start to finish (and even in between) which made the day even more enjoyable.

If you’re in Dunedin then don’t hesitate, go ‘Head First’ into seeing the sights!

Dear Sydney
Thanks for your review - we do appreciate every bit of feedback we get on our services.

We are well in to another Cruise season and whilst Nikita is off traveling herself now we have other excellent staff coordinating each and every Cruise ship customer as well as other visitors to Dunedin.

Bringing Alive Local Legends and NOT leaving customers stranded are mantras of our company and even more appropriate on Cruise ship days.

Kia ora and kind regards from Dunedin, Aotearoa, New Zealand
