We spent 2 hours here and would of happily spent some more time- the high tea looked excellent but you have to pre-book and we didn't.
The gardens are lovely and varied. The history of the castle is very well documented and the accompanying pamplets are excellent.
This is well worth a visit and well worth the $28 entry fee.
