We stayed at Alan's beach and went on the early evening wildlife trip with Sam.The trip up on to the cliffs was an experience in itself, but the vehicle coped with the rough terrain it had to go over.As stated in a previous review the walkway down to the beach is very steep but with good footwear it was fine.
We saw the sea lions and the seals and we were lucky enough to see 3 yellow eyed penguins which are very rare and like to live a more solitary existence rather than in groups.
We really enjoyed learning about the way Sam runs his farm and the methods they use on the farm.Sam and his family have lived in this area for a long time so he is very knowledgeable on this area in general.
