My wife and myself had a great day with Daniel from Back to Nature Tours. We were picked up from the cruise ship and taken to the lookout to get some great photos of Dunedin. Then off to Baldwin street for a climb to the top then into town to see the sights.then out to the Otago peninsular to Lanarch castle. The penguin colony was a halite with both blue and yellow eyed penguins in their nesting boxes. The seals on the beach and rocks were a real treat.Daniel's knowledge of the Animals and the area was brilliant. The pace was relaxed and we had plenty of time at all of the places we stopped.Overall I would rate this as our most enjoyable tour we did while in New Zealand. Well Done Back to Nature

We were picked up at our ship early in the morning and off we went to visit the town of Dunedin, the coastal areas around the town, including some of the most spectacular scenery we have seen in any country in the world. The visit to the penguin colony was more memorable for the cove than for the 4 penguins we did view, but they were cute, nonetheless. (I think we had been spoiled after our visit to S. America and the thousands at 2 colonies there!) Our guide was amazing and provided us with a running commentary of the history and geography of the area. We love smaller tours, and this one did not disappoint. I heartily recommend Back to Nature if you are ever in New Zealand.

Right ON, a Great trip with a incredible driver, who was a naturalist he knew so much about the flora and fauna it was amazing...I learned alot that day and think I would love to book another trip with this company and with Chris the most interesting to listen to on a Otago Peninsula excursion.

Great Job! And thanks again for a wonderful afternoon drive.

I visited Dunedin while on the Celebrity Solstice and my group was met by owner Chris. He was a great guide and we were able to see all of the highlights of beautiful Dunedin. His knowledge and pride of the area were evident. One of the highlights was visiting the magnificent coastal area where the yellow-eyed penguin sanctuary is. I have no doubt we saw much more than any other ship-offered excursion. Definitely would recommend!

Despite a delayed start due to confusion caused by two cruise ships in Port at the same time, our guide Chris conducted this tour with professionalism, enthusiasm and a caring attitude towards some disabled and injured people on the tour. We enjoyed a detailed scenic journey highlighting the city's vantage points and travelled to the bays and beaches that surround Dunedin. We take with us happy memories! Thank you Chris.
