Well may be a slight exaggeration but has to be close. We were recommended to come here by our motel. Great choice of main dishes. I had the Eggs Montreal which was just superb. Also excellent coffee. We sat outside in the sun but the interior looked really fun too. A must for breakfast in Christchurch.

Easy to miss this gem as just a blackboard sign outside. Definitely look this place up as it has great food, terrific service and is reasonably well priced. It was very busy confirming it's popularity with the local crowd in Christchurch. Staff were happy to amend my order and they cater for Gluten free clientele.

Superb scrambled eggs and bacon with freshly-baked bread. Heavenly pancakes with fruit compote. Friendly staff and customers. Very good value. Tip: 15 min walk from Cathedral Sq, 5 mins from The George, 28 bus on Montreal St or 17 bus Park Tce/Dorset St all close by.

We made it a habit to stop at Vic's to begin our days in Christchurch. The flat white is wonderful, we bought bread and bagels to take on our backpacking treks. The food and pasteries are wonderful. Make it a point to stop there for a coffee. Oh, my kingdom for a Vic's flat white….

You can choose your type of bread....all sorts available...then choose your filling an sauces. So you don't get anything you don't want or don't like. Easy!
