Stayed at Equestrian. Service was great and food was big. Rooms are a bit aged but clean. Close to shopping outlet stores. Handy location.

We stayed here for just one night due to an early flight home. The outside of the hotel was a filthy mess with rubbish, mud and trucks lined up. The reception area was not too bad and the receptionists were lovely! The rooms were large but grubby looking, peeled wallpaper, old heaters, mouldy and broken tiles in the bathroom and dirty drinking glasses all in all very disconcerting, however the sheets and bed looked new, clean and comfy and the tv was large and new. It is very reasonably priced and it was ok for one short night being very handy for the airport.

Hi, we stay here once or twice a week. Top Receptionists and staff. The Owner is doing up the place he is well aware that its time for redecoration. But hey Rome wasn't built in a day. It's great to catch up with everybody and the friendly atmosphere. The place is clean and comfortable. It's also very busy,, so make sure you book. Affordable and great with Bartercard available,

Very very dated. The wallpaper is peeling off, Foreign objects on walls, the couch is so dated & dirty looking. Mould in the bath & tiles about to fall from ceiling, both in bathroom & Living area.

They advertise that they have access to the internet in Rooms - NOPE.... they can't get it to work......

Hotel is the local for the long haul truck drivers.

Staff are nice & Restaurant is not too bad, but the hotel does need an urgent refurbishment.

Definitely a Negative 2 star hotel.

If you want very, very basic & close to shops this is OK, but until it is refurbished I would not recommend nor stay there again.

Room Tip: Choose somewhere else......

The good: Rooms are large, and spotlessly clean. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is large and the shower works well. Reasonably priced plus they take Bartercard. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The bad: decor is tired 1980s, could do with a refurb. Looks like they gave up the battle of trying to clean the windows against the onslaught of liquefaction dust post-earthquakes.
The ugly: truck drivers start their rigs very early outside your window!
All in all, if you're not bothered about fancy frills and decor, this isn't a bad choice.

Clean Hotel, but unfortunately very very dated. Hotel seems to be the local for the long haul truck drivers. Hence you are woken very early in the morning when the trucks are starting up / idling getting ready to roll out, also woken late at night when the trucks arrive.
Lovely staff, but the hotel does need an urgent refurbishment.
Definitely a 2 star hotel.
