This new restaurant breaks the mould for Christchurch restaurants - it is gigantic, with the most amazing glitzy decor, a giant screen with loud music, same size mirror at the opposite end. The food is very good Chinese food although on the pricey side compared to other restaurants serving food of the same calibre. We received a lonely plate of crispy skin pork at least ten minutes before our order dumpling entree, which was curious. After that little hiccup the rest of the food arrived in sensible fashion. The stuffed topu was delicious as well as the beef dish we ordered - a lot of very fresh veges with the beef which was very pleasing . On the downside: the tables are very cramped - getting in and out of our seats was a challenge, and the staff, of which there were a very large number in the service team, could all have done with freshly laundered tops. Overall a great experience for a night out - something really different!
