You sit on a bus, you see what the buildings are now like, while the TV screen on bus shows you what it was like before the earthquake, giving you immediate comparison of the individual building before and after the quake.

Guide from Christchurch also gives you information and stories on some of the buildings.

It's a quick and economical way to get an understanding of what earthquakes do, especially for those who never experienced earthquake.

The tour is excellent with a great commentary and afterwards you can freely walk around the city where it is not blocked off. Living here I found it very interesting. Plus viewing the Quake City which is a display at the Restart Mall in Cashel street.

I'm so glad I took this tour!! Excellent value, would have paid more!
The driver and commentator were great.... so informative, no rushing, answered all queries. This was a real eye opener to me.... the TV and paper coverage just didn't depict the devastation this beautiful city and surrounds has endured.
Well done Red Bus Company!!! :)
