The garden roses is beautiful and smelling!
The garden is really huge and it s quiet and relaxing to have a walk inside or just take your book, seat on the floor and enjoy.
It s better with a good weather :)

A lovely oasis in a wonderful city. The old trees stand tall given how they must have been giggled around they are still tall proud and strong. The rose garden is amazing. A wonderful stroll

A brilliant city garden that was both colourful and spacious, which helped us 'relax to the max'. The 'rose garden' was particularly beautiful.

We visited this garden in autumn when all the deciduous trees were in full colour and the late summer flowers like roses were still out. It is absolutely beautiful - a lift for the soul after walking through the earthquake devastated centre of Christchurch. We came across families, an elderly couple who had hired electric wheelchairs so they could get right around the gardens, an engagement party and lots of others who were enjoying the gardens in different ways.
We took a garden tour with Sue - fascinating. Thank you Sue.
If you visit the Isite in Christchurch you are o the edge of the garden. Take the opportunity and stroll through it. There's a cafe in the middle and the museum is near the Isite.
