A good little museum with some interesting exhibits, which now has free entry. There's a behind the scenes tour that you can pay to go on which is worthwhile doing. You can see some of the restoration work in progress and the other exhibits for which they have no room to display. A new extension was under construction at the time of my visit. Strangely, the main exhibition hall has subdued lighing which may well give atmosphere to the exhibits but sure ruins your chances of decent photos unless you have a very good camera. Take a look at the dented tail of the Vampire hanging in the entrance. Damage from the earthquake.
